After a small interval of really borin days im back wid the really good parts of the week...
first of all there's debate stuff goin on for which tomorrow the guys are goin to the girls section...lucky them...and like Sameed said "God knows how they're gonna react and seein Lino" *LOL*
Being a Wednesday, today was supposed to be the most boring day of the week coz of the double chem, double bio and double physics. The English period was totally uncool because we (Sameed and Me)didn't really wanna listen to JJ sucking up to Nazih. Chem 2nd period was really funny at the beginning coz Lawry told Mubashir, Nazih and Shamlik to sing or display watevr talent they had. Mubashir was ok wid his song, Nazih with his speech-copied-right-from-the-internet, ans Shamlik's hilarious crappy mallu song "Lajjavathiye". OMG it was SO FUNNY! the things he was doin with his hand when he was singing. Benjamin missed it out coz he preffered sittin at home to writin the maths test (which was terrible coz i screwd up even though it was sooooo easy).
Now starts my usualt rant about bio class....
Yesterday, sir came across the theories of many other ppl than his darling Darwin...then he mentioned how cockroaches MIGHT have gotten resistance to insecticides....they might hav CRAVED or PRAYED for resistance(mutation of DNA)...wen Jaideep asked them wether we could actually do tht he said no....so what exactly was he tryin to say?!! :S
when he mentioned tht the many varieties of dogs(the examples he mentioned wer BULLDOG, SIN-HUA-HUA *lol thts how he pronounced chihuahua*) basically came frm the same ancestor, Sebin JT asked whethr catfish is related to the cat!...really he's wat u shud call nerd....(*btw note for ben - Nerd means Fool.... :P *)
Today he tld us how environment can affect species....he gav the example of a White man going to Africa and turnin Black...."chromatofers produse melanin tht spreads over the cytoplasm to give layer of protection from UV rays"....and wen he comes back he turns White again....Benjamin must be so excited after readin dis coz he mi8 b hopin for it to work the other way around...too bad man, he said it doesnt work tht way around coz a Black man's son remains Black and vice versa...Then came the explanation to tht cravin/prayin thing..it was som French guy named Lamarck's theory....now dis guys is kinda interestin coz he mentioned the theories of "Use and Disuse of Organs" and "Inheritance of Acquired Characters"....both of them wer proved wrong (*i still dont undrstand y they'r still teachin them*)....the guy said tht if an organ is being used it develops better and another tht is not bein used stops developin, example- if u didnt use ur left hand it wud become non-funtional. But thts lame.... If the 1st theory was true then Sameed would hav a LONG schlong...lmao!
the fun part of todays break was the new game we made called "Impossible Embarrassin Situations and How u wud Handle them"...tomoro Ben is gonna get washed over with questions...
