The Assembly Part I

This is one embaressin incident for Sameed. But weirdly he jus became more popular becoz of it.

It happened in April i guess.....v wern't informed properly abt our assembly....on the assembly mornin my classmates wer still 50% unsure...Uday was like "dude y r u wearin the coat and all? our assembly is not today. its on monday"(*it was a saturday). Luckily Tauheed and Naofel came all prepared. So it went jus fine(fyn..jus fyn...jus fyn lol).

In the mornin at home i was all tensed and all coz i had news to say. i was prepared and all but still ther was the tiny bit of my mind goin "wat if u screw up?". To divert my anxiety i startd thinkin wat the rest of dem assembly guys mi8 b goin through...and then i rememberd tht Sameed, who had to do the thought, always usually comes late...i just realised tht if he's late, v mi8 need a backup. Coincidently i found a thot lying ryt in front of me on the table...(*i guess it can be classified under miracles*)...my sister had written it from an sms she had gottn sum few months back...i kept it in my coat pocket for backup...here it is:

“Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”

So after som confirmation with Chandola sir, we went to the hall...and as i predicted Sameed dint turn up...so wen Chandola sir askd us who is the backup...(*actually we dint hav any backup guy*) so i jus told Kais's name (*LOL*)...i gav him my thot and den wen he was memorizin it, Sameed turned up....he was all dreamy (*as usual*) and the dummy dint get any thot...so he was stuck wid myn...i remembr tellin him to read it out...

it was all smooth in the beginnin wid Yaseen's recitation, Ali Hasnain's translation and Tauheed's comparin (*or howevr its spelled*).Then the big moment cam for Sameed. He startd off fyn but screwd it up at the second line itself...and like a big moron he repeatd the whole thot again wid all the same mistakes and mixups....sum guys at the front wer promptin him too...lol he got the most applause....

his screwup lightened the mood of evrybody...so myn  went smoothly....the assembly ended fyn and wen he came back he was ripped on by all! lolzz!!

now ppl who dont even kno him call out "goldy!" at him wyl walkin past....but his rep definitely went up...lolz

Even tho the incident wasnt much embarrassin for sameed ,it was for me....coz it makes me feel tht i did hav sum part in the screwup....it was a + point for me tht i brot backup but Sameed successfully gav me a -point..thnx mate...u suck...

This is my point of view of it...lets see wat sameed went through.... in his post....the point of view of the screwee....and Ben will giv the audience's point of view.....
